Account & Authentication Data

When you sign in via Patreon, we receive and store the following from your Patreon account:

  • Your email address
  • Your Patreon membership status and tier
  • A unique account identifier

You may also optionally link a secondary email address to connect lap data submitted under a different email to your profile.

Lap Time Data

We collect lap time data from your sim racing games, including:

  • Lap times and sector times
  • Track and car information
  • Driver names (as they appear in your sim games)
  • Game settings (ABS, TC, etc.)
  • Date and time of lap completion

Analytics Data

We use Vercel Analytics to understand how our website is used. This may include information about your device, browser, and usage patterns.

How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

  • Display lap times on our public and ranked leaderboards
  • Provide comparison features between different sim racing titles
  • Generate statistics and insights about sim racing performance
  • Provide personalised features such as your profile, personal best laps, and lap analysis charts
  • Verify your Patreon membership to grant access to tier-restricted features (e.g. Ranked Leaderboards, Lap Analysis)

Your data is stored on Vercel's secure servers. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

Data Retention

Lap time data is retained indefinitely to maintain historical leaderboards and provide long-term sim racing statistics. If you wish to have your data removed, please contact us through our contact form or via our Patreon page.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Vercel – Hosting, database, and analytics. Vercel may collect and process certain information as described in their privacy policy.
  • Patreon – Authentication and membership verification. When you sign in, we exchange data with Patreon's API to verify your identity and tier. We do not store your Patreon password.
  • Google Gemini – AI-generated content. Aggregated, non-personally-identifiable lap statistics (e.g. total laps, popular tracks) are sent to Google's Gemini API to generate weekly summaries. No email addresses or account details are shared with Google.

We do not sell your personal data to any third party.

Cookies & Sessions

When you sign in, we store a session cookie in your browser to keep you authenticated. This cookie is essential for the login functionality to work and is not used for tracking or advertising. It expires when you sign out or after your session ends.

Your Rights

Access Your Data

You have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you. Please contact us through our contact form or Patreon page.

Delete Your Data

You can request deletion of your lap time data and account at any time by contacting us. This will permanently remove all your lap times, personal bests, competition entries, and any AI-generated summaries associated with your profile from our platform.

Opt Out of Analytics

You can opt out of Vercel Analytics by disabling cookies in your browser or using browser extensions that block tracking.
